Ein Vergleich aus dem Promo Video (von einer der ersten Seiten aus dem Thread) vom Prototyp via Screenshot und davon je links und rechts die geposteten Bilder.



Das linke Bild scheint echt die Augen überbetont zu zeigen.
Beim rechten welches dunkler scheint würde ich sagen passt es wieder mehr zum Prototyp.

Die Hautfarbe an sich muss man wohl echt Live sehen.

Ja finde dass Gesicht passt, nur das Material sieht echt wie billiges Plastik aus. Auch stört mich sehr dass die Rüstung ganz sauber ist.. Sie soll schon Dreck haben und sollte glänzender sein.. Finde auch dass der Elch zu wenig verschiedene Farben hat aber gut..

Der Kopf wird wohl aus translucent Resin gemacht sein. Sieht zumindest sehr danach aus. Nach Plastik sieht das nicht aus.

Ja denke auch,mit Isildur hat dies nun auch bei Weta Einzug gehalten,mir gefällt das.

Ich denke der Gollum wird dann auch komplett daraus bestehen.. Sehr schade da ich diesen Preis nicht rechtfertigen kann. Villeicht irgendwann mal hole ich mir den. Das Resin sieht schon sehr schön aus!

I do apologise that we’re a bit late to this discussion. The truth is we’ve been running around baffled – we have a production sample here in the office and it’s beautiful from EVERY angle. And comments from those who have received their statues support this.

Please rest assured that Thranduil has passed our rigorous quality control standards. The translucent resin used in Thranduil’s face does not photograph well at all, if the lighting isn’t just right and the camera short of top notch.

Gareth inspects EVERY SINGLE statue before it gets packed in your boxes and believe me – the man is a real nitpicker, feared and respected by the painters at the factory. When he gets in the zone, no substandard paint job will go unchallenged and a nervous hush descends on the crew until it’s over.

It gets sent back and re-done until it meets Gareth’s standards. Regardless of how long it takes.

As you know, we take your opinion of the quality of our collectibles very seriously. We want Thranduil on Elk to be a Graal as much as you do and would like to humbly ask that you pass judgement only once you have seen Thranduil in the flesh. We’re confident you will love this magnificent piece.

Naja schön und gut, aber es kommt nicht auf Weta Meinung an, natürlich ist die Figur in ihren Augen perfekt! Wäre auch blöd wenn nicht Aber es ist schon richtig die Figur erst zu beurteilen wenn man sie bekommen hat. Ist aber mal schön zu sehen dass Weta auch mal dazu sagt. Andere Fotos helfen da aber nicht. Habt ihr gesehen wie das Elch Geweih garnicht in das Loch passt? Dazu fehlt die Schwarze Umrundung auf den Augen vom Elch. Das macht mir Angst..

Perfekt ist -- The Mouth Of Sauron On Steed Statue --
und der hatt nicht 1000 euro gekostet und ist vom Details her besser alls der Elk. Für mich ist der Elk gut gemacht aber mehr auch nicht.
