Gotham City Nightmare dares to ask, what would the familiar faces of Gotham become when viewed through eyes filled with fear? The Batman Statue gives you a glimpse of the Dark Knight like never before.
In Creative Director Tom Gilliland’s words,

No longer a crusader in just a cape and cowl, Batman has taken on a more sinister style as a bat creature, poised 20” tall on top of a warped Gotham gargoyle, his wings spread wide. Disgusting creatures like bats, rats, and centipedes crawl at Batman’s clawed feet, emerging from the stonework on which he stands.

Batman’s body is carefully sculpted with sinewy flesh capturing the monstrous melding of his suit design to the creature’s skin, painted with deep blues and greys to give him his chilling appearance. A subtle bat symbol covers his chest, integrating into his anatomy and further deepening the nightmare.

EXCLUSIVE

The Exclusive edition of the Batman Statue comes with a swap-out portrait that depicts the ghoulish defender of Gotham as an even more monstrous, bat-like entity. This “Demon Bat” appearance awakens the most fearsome features of Batman as he appears in your worst nightmares. The statue also includes a small pedestal for displaying the alternate portrait.

Das wäre doch ne super Vorlage für Man-Bat gewesen. Schade.
Sieht auf den ersten Blick aber trotzdem nicht verkehrt aus.

Der gefällt mir sehr gut. In 1/4 wäre er mir aber lieber.

Den hätte ich gerne in meiner Sammlung vielleicht mache ich mal eine Ausnahme.

Klasse, wenn was neben dem Mainstream herausgebracht wird. Sieht optisch schon sehr verlockend aus. Ist jetzt natürlich nur eine Mutmaßung, aber alles weitab von den bekannten Charakteren ist immer ein finanzielles Risiko für den Hersteller. Um dieses zu minimieren werden die Produktionskosten durch eine kleinere Scale heruntergeschraubt. Auch Interessenten lassen sich wahrscheinlich eher mit einem kleineren Verkaufspreis animieren sich mal etwas anderes als A-Lister ins Wohnzimmer zu stellen.

Auch sehr interessant der Hintergrund. Bane besitzt alleine im Oberarm die nahezu gleiche Masse wie der Torsus von Black Canary. Was für ein Monster! Killer Croc überzeugt mich auch immer noch. Die Haltung lässt ihn klein wirken und zugegeben, Sideshow hätte da locker noch ein paar Zentimeter draufpacken müssen, aber dafür ist die Pose auch einzigartig. Was bei Harley Quinn zu sehen ist, lässt mich den Bestell Knopf drücken, irgendwie sieht das trotzdem nicht nach einer 1/4 Scale aus. Mal abwarten bis mehr Infos kommen.

Wer nicht wagt kann nicht gewinnen. Wird auch wirklich mal Zeit das Sie sich auch mal wieder um die alte Garde kümmern, die kann man nicht nur immer mit dem selben füttern kann. Aber vom Aussehen her eigentlich Mainstream 1great
