Sideshow is proud to present the Vampirella Statue! Based off of acclaimed comic book artist Terry Dodson’s artwork recreated and inspired by her long legacy in pulp novels and comics, this statue captures the alluring attitude of the horror huntress in 1:5 scale.

Sitting at about 10”, Vampirella rests gently atop a morbid throne of skeletal remains, decorated with several skulls at the top. The regal seat is draped with a sculpted scarlet fabric that pools at the base of the throne, looking like rich, red blood befitting this vampire vixen.
Vampi’s raven-hair flows gracefully behind her as she gestures enticingly, drawing you in to her thrall. The bloodthirsty beauty is wearing her white high collar and classic crimson costume, adorned with a gold bat symbol and gold jewelry.

Vampirella’s black thigh-high boots hover gently over the base of the throne as she sits, light as a bat’s wing. She comes detailed with a matching red manicure, completing her famous and fashionable ensemble.

Die nächste Vampirella?! Und ein Thron. Wie originell.

Nun ja, rein wirtschaftlich gesehen verwundert es mich mitnichten. Sex sells in Kombination mit dem Trend, dass jede Comicfigur sein eigenes Mobiliar mitbringt, scheint hier seinen vorläufigen Höhepunkt erreicht zu haben. Wird sich auch hier letztenendes wieder in schwarzen Zahlen belegen lassen.

Auf der anderen Seite stehen wir Sammler (ich nehme mal die reinen Vampirella Jünger aus der Gleichung), welche sich dann doch fragen warum diese Aufmerksamkeit nicht einem anderen Charakter gebührt.

Ich sehe das nicht als vertane Chance, sondern freue mich das meine spezielle Leidenschaft so beliebt geworden ist. Lieber ein paar Charaktere doppelt und dreifach und von der sonstigen riesigen Auswahl profitieren als wie früher grundsätzlich limitiert zu sein.

Von der Größe des Thrones auf dem Foto her, würd ich mal vermuten das die 1:5 wird. Kompagnon zur Purgatori.
Ob dann noch Jungle Girl, Red Sonja und Dejah Thoris kommen? Manchmal wünschte ich mir Sideshow wär etwas offener was künftige Erscheinungen angeht. Würde das Planen erheblich leichter machen...

Muss sagen als alter Fan der Comics, dass dies die erste Version ist die mich wirklich lockt.

Hmm also das Gesicht ist ja mal hoffentlich nicht final (wirkt noch "gezeichnet") Wenn das genauso kommt brauch ich gar nicht drüber nachdenken. Sie hat zwar in keiner Version bisher ein perfektes Gesicht bekommen, ausser in der Ex auf dem Schädel, welche ich leider nicht habe.... aber so wie da auf dem Bild ...nöööö ^^.
