Das sieht wirklich nach Aufräumen aus. Dazu mal eine Frage an die Viel-, bzw. Häufigbesteller bei WETA:

Meine letzte Bestellung dort liegt schon eine Weile zurück, aber zu dem Zeitpunkt war es so, dass ich die Artikel in der Währung NZD in den Warenkorb gelegt und auch via Kreditkarte bezahlt habe. Dies ergab trotz Aufschlag des Kreditkartenunternehmen für die Währungsumrechnung immer noch ein fettes Plus als wenn ich direkt in Euro, bzw. USD bezahlt hätte.

Gilt das heute, insbesondere mit der Umstellung auf das neue Shopsystem genau noch so?

Eine zweite Frage fällt mir auch noch ein:
Wie funktionieren die Reverse Auctions?

Gehen alle Units gleichmäßig miteinander im Preis runter oder werden Unit für Unit separat nacheinander angeboten?

Holy shit, das nenne ich mal eine ordentliche Auflistung!

Facebook ist dazu nicht nötig. Die genauen Zeiten stehen ja schon oben (PST + 9h = Zeit in Deutschland).

Prop Replicas and Weapons*: geh einfach am 24.11. um 21:00 auf die Weta-Seite und leg das in den Warenkorb, was Du möchtest.

Smaug Bust: geh einfach am 26.11. um 23:00 auf die Weta-Seite und schlag zu, wenn der Preis aus Deiner Sicht tief genug ist.


* aus meiner Sicht ist das Polyurethan-Zeugs auch mit 70% off noch zu teuer. Ich habe vieles gehabt und gleich nach dem ersten Auspacken wieder in die Verpackung zurückgelegt und weitergegeben. Schau Dir genau an, was Du Dir da in den Warenkorb legst.

Grundsätzlich kannst Du nach wie vor in NZD bestellen, Du trägst aber (damals wie heute) das Währungsrisiko selbst. NZD zum Zeitpunkt der Lieferung teurer geworden im Vergleich zu EUR = Pech gehabt, NZD zum Zeitpunkt der Lieferung günstiger geworden im Vergleich zu EUR = Glück gehabt.

Heute hat aber Weta faire, aktuellere (und damit in den meisten Fällen gegenüber früher für den Kunden "schlechtere") Währungskurse, so dass der Unterschied bei der Bestellung in verschiedenen Währungen vernachlässigbar ist. Vor allem bei Aktionen wie hier, bei denen alles ab Lager lieferbar ist und damit sofort belastet wird.

Auch von mir Danke; das "spart" Rumrechnerei....hatte heute mal so ein bißchen durchgetestet und gerechnet, da schienen mir auch keine großen Unterschiede mehr bei den unterschiedlichsten Währungen zu sein.

Bekommt man denn angezeigt, welche Prop Replicas (z.B. Pfeiffen) 30% reduziert sind oder sieht man das erst im Warenkorb bei Bezahlung? Ich kann zwar Englisch, aber diese Feinheit habe ich noch nirgends entdeckt. Bei nem Balrog für ca. 430 Euro kann ich glaube auch nicht wiederstehen.

Oh ja.. sie machen es einem sehr schwer nein zu sagen ...
