Sieht aber auch wirklich besser aus die höhere Base finde ich.

Aber so hast Du wieder eine Präsentationsmöglichkeit mehr. 
Und es waren "nur" 200 SGD also ca. 130 €... aber klar, für jemanden, der die niedrigere Base eh bevorzugt schon leicht ärgerlich.
