Sideshow hat anscheinend doch eingesehen, dass das mit der Warteschlange ne blöde Idee war. Vertreibt vermutlich auch viele Kunden, die zu dem Zeitpunkt einfach auf die Seite wollen und von den Codes gar nix wissen.
Dafür sind die Dinger jetzt Mengenbegrenzt (1000-2000x pro Code oder so) und dementsprechend muss man sehr schnell sein. Und es sind nur noch 1-3$. Hört sich nach nicht viel an, aber ich hab grad dieses Jahr mal durchgerechnet. Wenn man da einige erwischt, kommt schon ein nettes Sümmchen zusammen.
Rewards now expire.
• As of January 1, 2021, Sideshow Rewards will expire 1 year from their activation.
• Sideshow Rewards listed as PENDING are not ACTIVE and therefore not assigned an expiration date until they become active to use.
• Any Rewards active in your account as of January 1, 2021 will expire on January 1, 2022.
Items $50 or under.
• Items with an SRP (Suggested Retail Price) of $50 or less are not eligible to be purchased with Sideshow Rewards - unless specifically designated as such.
• However, items with an SRP (Suggested Retail Price) of $50 or less are eligible to earn Sideshow Rewards.
What this means for you.
• If you have active, redeemable rewards in your account, then you have a whole year to redeem them on a purchase before they expire on January 1, 2022. We have hundreds of items on our site and you have plenty of time still to redeem your rewards!
• If you have pending rewards in your account, those rewards will activate approximately 40 days after your order has shipped. At that time, the rewards will be programmed to expire in 1 year from that activation date.
• How do you keep track of which rewards are expiring? In the upcoming months, we will be adding a special section to the rewards area within your account that will display any rewards due to expire within 30 days. In addition, your Rewards Update email will also supply expiration information. This should allow you to easily track any rewards about to expire.

Hast du leider falsch verstanden.
Sobald deine Pending Points zu verfügbaren Points umgewandelt werden, sind diese 1 Jahr gültig.
40 Tage nachdem der Artikel verschickt wurde, werden deine Reward Points umgewandelt!
Das greift ab dem 1.1.21, alle bis zum 31.12.20 gesammelten Punkte sind dann automatisch bis zum 1.1.22 gültig, alle ab dem 1.1.21 gesammelten ab dem Tag des Hinzufügen dann ein Jahr.
Na toll, sammeln der Punkte kann man auch knicken ab jetzt. Ist doch Mist sowas, vor allem wenn in der Zeit nichts kommt was man kaufen möchte, dann ist man gezwungen die Punkte zu verbraten.
Das wird der Grund sein, die wollen erreichen dass man nicht einmal mit 200 Dollar an Points bestellt, sondern lieber 2x mit 100 Dollar.
Ich steh derzeit bei 90 Dollar, ich kann also zumindest 2021 noch komplett sammeln. Wenn sie verfallen ist halt Pech, aber nur bestellen damit die Points nicht verfallen wäre auch bescheuert.

Wobei es ja vom Zoll her mehr Sinn macht pro Statue nur 100$ zu investieren, damit das denen nicht auffällt.
Ich werd noch genau ein Jahr warten und an Codes mitnehmen was geht. Vielleicht hab ich am nächsten Black Friday Glück und es ist mal was Versandkostenfrei was mich interessiert. Mit den derzeitigen Versandkosten + Zoll gibt es eigentlich nichts, wo sich eine Direktbestellung lohnen würde.
