The EditDroid, Rise and Fall (2014) - IMDb

Historic Star Wars-related artifact - 30 minutes of Return of the Jedi footage from a long lost EditDroid Laser Disc!
Historic Star Wars-related artifact of a now dead pre-Avid/Final Cut Pro computerized editing system developed by Lucasfilm which quaintly/wackily used multiple laserdiscs to cue up edits in a ill-conceived, overly-complex, bug-ridden system. One of Lucas' few commercial flops (you might call this the "Howard The Duck" of editing systems). This is a generic Scotch Videodisc with computer printed label was used to demonstrate the EditDroid system which was debuted at the NAB show in Las Vegas in 1984. Now here's the amazing part for you Star Wars freaks out there... Approximately 30 minutes of unedited raw, unsweetened work print takes in letterbox format of scene 50 (Luke on Dagobah with Yoda) from "Return of The Jedi" were used - NEVER OFFICIAL RELEASED MATERIAL. Slates, people yelling action, multiple takes of the same scenes of Luke and Yoda...

Zitat:Could Indiana Jones be the key to Han Solo’s return?
A new rumor indicates that as part of Harrison Ford’s deal to return as the captain of the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Episode VII, the actor also wanted a commitment from Lucasfilm and Disney that a fifth Indiana Jones movie would happen. While he didn’t quite get that, an agreement was reportedly reached that would at least see an outline for Indy 5 being developed by the end of 2014.
Disney reportedly also wanted a multi-film deal with Ford beyond Episode VII, which has been agreed upon, and which ties into this next point. Interestingly, Ford also is said to have wanted to see how Han would develop over “more than just” Episode VII, indicating that the character will indeed be around for most of the new trilogy and will not be killed off in the new film as some fans have speculated.
Unless he winds up as a Force Ghost!
Again, this is an unconfirmed rumor.

Hehe, da warst ein paar Sekunden schneller. ^^
Aber wenn man es genau nimmt, hat sich der Film doch von Mitte 15 auf Ende 15 verschoben.

Zitat:Lucasfilm Confirms R2-D2 is in Star Wars: Episode VII
Lucasfilm (via StarWars.com) confirmed today that everyone's favorite overweight glob of grease, R2-D2, will be back on the big screen in Star Wars: Episode VII. Rumors began to swirl after an official behind-the-scenes photo (seen below) was posted online last week.
Not only that, but two Star Wars fans have been hired to build the droid for the big screen. The company announced that Lee Towersey and Oliver Steeples of the R2-D2 Builders Club have officially joined the Creature Effects team of director J.J. Abrams' upcoming sequel. They met Lucasfilm honcho Kathleen Kennedy while she was at last summer's Star Wars Celebration in Europe. Kennedy admired their handiwork at the show, during which they time they quipped they'd be willing to work on the film. Little did they know then that Kennedy took them at their word.
“What we do need to do is improve on the mechanics,” says Towersey of Episode VII's Artoo. “We’re currently in a research and design phase where we’re looking at drive options for reliability on all possible terrains, whether it be a one-motor-does-all, or a system which is easily adjusted depending on terrain. We have a few mocked up ideas which we hope to road test very soon.”
“It’s a dream come true,” says Steeples, “and I hope I can live up to the expectations of the thousands of R2-D2 Builders around the world, let alone the millions of Star Wars fans.”

Boba Fett ‘Star Wars’ spinoff reportedly in pre-production
The news of the standalone film, which will delight Star Wars fans across the world, was revealed by Metalocalypse director Joe Schnepp who said the spinoff would be written by Lawrence Kasdan, who wrote The Empire Strikes Back and The Return Of The Jedi.
In an interview with AMC Movie Talk, Schepp said: "One of them is Boba Fett. It is. I know. I know for a fact. I will never reveal my source, but it is the one written by Lawrence Kasdan."
Kasdan is on board to pen a new Star Wars standalone film, separate from the new trilogy which begins with the JJ Abrams directed Star Wars: Episode VII. Last February (2013), Lawrence Kasdan said in an interview that he wants to "start fresh" with the franchise's spin-off film.
Speaking about the project, which he was remaining tight-lipped about regarding the characters involved and the plot, Kasdan revealed that he will be working on the film with X-Men: Days of Future Past screenwriter Simon Kinberg.
He told the LA Times: "I'm trying to start fresh. There are certain pleasures that we think the saga can bring to people that they've been missing, and we're hoping to bring them that, and at the same time, have them feel that it's all new.
"The ones I worked on were a long time ago, and they had a slightly different feeling than the ones that followed. The first three, Star Wars, Empire and Return of the Jedi, are all sort of more about people than the ones that followed."
According to reports, Disney plan the spin-off films to include vehicles for Han Solo and Boba Fett. Solo's film would be set in the time period between Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope, while the Boba Fett film would take place either between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, or between The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi.

Hab den Hype um Boba Fett eh nie verstanden. Wenn es aber einen gut gemachten Film geben sollte, bin ich dabei.
Träume nach wie vor von etwas, dass so gut rüber kommt wie die Videos aus "The Old Republic":
